摘要: William Henry Perkin爵士是一位著名的有机化学家,也是有机化学工业先驱。他一生品行端正,为后世之楷模。关于Perkin的外文传记颇多,而中文文献较少。本文查阅并梳理了相关的文献,对Perkin成长的时代背景、科学贡献、人物生平和对后代的影响进行了描述,以求对化学教育和个人成长提供启发和借鉴。
